Day 1: Arrival Tachileik /Kyaingtong
Upon arrival in Tachileik, border city with Thailand, our GeoDiscover guide will welcome the clients at border pass and assist registration formalities, customs and police.
And then, approximately 1½ hr drive to Kyaing Tong, former Royal seat of the Kyaing Tong Sawbwa( Shan hereditary prince and ruler). Check in to your hotel and explore Kyaing Tong at your own pace. Overnight Hotel.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kyaing Tong-Wan Nyat
Breakfast at Hotel. Start your sightseeing by visiting Kyaing Tong Market where many hill tribes come down to do their purchases. Then continue to unspoiled Wan Nyat Shan heritage monastery (mix architecture between Thai and Shan) and Wan Seng village, and the recently opened Namp-Lwei stream and explore the Tai Loi ethnic villages. Back to Kyaing Tong. Overnight Kyaing Tong.
Day 3: Soft Trekking in Kyaing Tong
After breakfast your local station guide will meet you at the hotel for a hiking tour into the Pin Tauk area, a pleasant place surrounded by monsoon forest and the splendid paddy fields. Your local guide will take you to Akha and Eng tribeal villages, where centuries old animist traditions are still practiced. The walk is not difficult so take your time to enjoy the scenery. Some of the Eng villages are situated on steep mountains. The hike up the mountain track, some with approximately 45 degree slope should not take more than half an hour. See the Akha ladies and their elaborate silver ornamental headgear and the kind hearted Eng people in their natural environment. Take your time getting acquainted with their unique traditions Return to Kyaung Tong in the late afternoon and overnight Kyaing Tong.
Day 4: Kyaing Tong
After breakfast, Morning visit to Water Buffalo Market on the southern side of the town. Drive to "Ho Kyin" village, typical Akha tribe village. From here continue for another 30 minutes to Na Phi Phank village, a exemplary village of harmony with Lahu and Akha tribes living together. Walk to Phata Akha village and "Pang Ma Phai" Akha tribe village to learn more about their daily life. Back down the mountain to your waiting transport and drive to Mong Zine (Khun Village) to see traditional Lahu blacksmiths in their native workshops. On the way back to hotel visit Joe Phyu "Wa" village. Overnight Kyaing Tong.
Day 5: Kyaing Tong-Heho-Inle Lake
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning relaxation at the hotel or visit around the city to see some famous places. At Kyaing Tong, you can still see traditional Shan houses with wooden tiles. In the afternoon transfer to airport for flight to Heho. Upon arrival in Heho, drive to Nyaung Shwe, the entry
point to Inle lake. It is also famous for Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery which is an elegant ancient monastery with its oval-shaped windows. It is also a monastic school for young Pa-O novices. Arrive Nyaung Shwe, a traditional long boat (motorized) will take you to Inle Lake. This wide, beautiful and picturesque natural lake, 900 meters above sea-level, 22 km long and 10 km across, is one of the famous tourist attractions in Myanmar.
It offers an unforgettable experience and is famous for its scenic beauty, the unique one-leg rowers, floating gardens, attractive villages, colorful markets, beautiful ethnic people (Pa-O) in their daily black color costume and rich and diverse birdlife. A boat trip on the lake is very enjoyable with a cool breeze, warm sun and seagulls flying overhead.
Transfer to hotel by private boat and check in.

Day 6: Inle Lake Sightseeing
Sightseeing includes Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda – the most venerated temple famous with 5 ancient small sacred statues covered by several layers of gold leaves, Nga phe kyaung monastery - famous for its collection of ancient Buddha statues, also known as "Jumping Cats" monastery and In Paw Khone village – to visit silk weaving workshops and the technique and creation of the fascinating design of the silk products. You can observe how they use the stems of lotus flowers to make the famous lotus fibre fabrics.

Day 7: Inle Lake + Indein Sightseeing

The day will begin with a visit to the 5 days market, a centuries old tradition still lovingly preserved where villagers from the neighbouring villages cone to trade. Then cross the lake and its canals to the south-west coast to reach Indein village, the magnificent complex of ancient stupas many covered in vegetation and with a panoramic view of the lake.Afternoon, return back to the lake to visit silversmith workshops, shan paper manufacturing, local cheroots making, boat making workshop etc.Overnight Inle Lake.
Day 8: Inle-Heho-Bagan-Sightseeing
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Bagan the royal capital of first Myanmar Empire. Bagan covers more than 49 square kilometers containing over 3000 pagodas and one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia.
Sightseeing starts with Shwezigon Pagoda – built by King Anawrahta, a prototype of later Myanmar stupas, Htilominlo Temple, well-known for its old mural, fine plaster carving and glazed sandstone decoration.
In the afternoon, visit a lacqueware workshop to observe the process from the very first step from making bamboo strips to the beautiful finished lacquerware items.Continue to discover Old Bagan's most beautiful testimonies of the splendors and the richness of this site, Ananda Temple – one of the finest in architecture and most revered temples with its four standing Bagan style Buddha images and huge carved teak doors, Thatbyinnyu Temple – 201ft tall, the tallest in Bagan shaped like a cross and the most aesthetic . Dhammayangyi Temple – the biggest brick structure in Bagan, built like in a Greek Cross similar to that of Ananda Temple.
A 2 hours ride in a horse-cart ride among magnificent pagodas and temples before enjoying a memorable Bagan sunset over the world famous archaeological complex from the upper terrace of one of the Bagan temples. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 9: Bagan sightseeing

In the morning, visit a local market and then continue to discover Bagan , Manuha Temple- built in Mon Style in 1059 A.D and Nanpaya Temple – famous for its fine masonry work of sandstone block facings integrated over a brick core.
And the visit continues to admire and gain a true impression of Bagan and its heritage.
Afternoon highlights include the visit Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi Temple and a visit in a village. Explore local cheroot making by using maize leaf, traditional oil press to extract oil from groundnuts, cotton weaving, and more.Overnight Bagan.
Day 10: Bagan-Mt. Popa-Salay-Bagan

Approximately one hour drive to Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano, located 50 km south-east of Bagan. Climbing 777 steps to the summit takes about 30 minutes and you can visit the Mahagiri Shrine dedicated to the "Nats" (spirits), stupas and a picturesque complex of monasteries at the top and enjoy the wonderful panoramic view across the Myingyan Plains.
On the way back to Bagan, visit Salay, historical and religious town south of Bagan. Sightseeing includes Yoke Sone Monastery/Museum with intricate embossed wood carvings. (The museum closes every Mondays and gazetted holidays. Then visit the Buddha Man Paya, a colossal Buddha statue made of woven bamboo strips and gilded on the outside which was salvaged from the Ayeyarwady River and consecrated at this place hundreds of years ago by the town folks of Salay.In the afternoon, arrive in Bagan and transfer to hotel.
Day 11: Bagan- Yangon-Sightseeing
Upon arrival in Yangon Domestic Airport, transfer to the hotel for check in.
Start orientation tour in Yangon including Sule Pagoda (Land Mark in city centre), Legend saya that it is 2,000 years old and the central stupa is said to enshrine a Holy Hair of Buddha. Every corner around Sule Pagoda on a walking tour, you will discover a unique charm of Yangon with its old colonial architecture buildings such as City Hall, High Court, etc.
After that go shopping to Bogyoke Aung San market (formerly Scott Market), where you can find wide range of souvenirs, handicraft shops, gems and jewelry famous for their qualities.
Evening visit to the magnificent Shwedagon pagoda & its pagoda bazaar. The massive and magnificent gold covered Shwedagon Pagoda (100 meter high), is one of the wonders of the world. It was built 2500 years ago and enshrined with Holy Hair Relics of Buddha and a place to meet devoted Buddhists at meditation and prayers. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 12: Departure Yangon
Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast, free time for relaxation.
Relax at the hotel, enjoy the pool, sun, and gardens or continue your exploration of Yangon (no services provided).
Late afternoon, transfer to Yangon International Airport for your departure flight.
